how it works
My logo design process consists of multiple stages to ensure that the final product truly represents your brand, and will catch the attention of your target market.
I'll ask for your feedback at every stage to ensure that the end result is something you love!
The next stage involves me sketching some rough ideas that capture the essence of your vision, over the course of about a week. I will then focus on refining these into one or two strong design concepts. I will create a digital, monochrome version of the design(s) to share with you.
The first stage is information gathering, where I take the time to understand your business in depth. This involves learning about your core values, target audience, and how you intend to use the logo across various platforms. This ensures that I can create a design that aligns perfectly with your vision and meets your practical needs. I'll send you a questionnaire to complete and return, which may be followed up with a call or alternatively an in-person meeting, for those local to Pau. I'll then provide a quote based on the work needed.
I now await your feedback. It's important to take the time to think about the design provided and if it truly resonates with you. Be honest. There is no pressure to accept my initial design, indeed most clients will ask for alterations, even if they love the overall idea.
The above feedback loop will continue for as long as necessary. We don't move on until you are completely happy with the design. I will then introduce colour - providing at least two options - for you to consider. Once again you provide your feedback until we find the perfect palette!
Following your feedback, I will update the designs as required. If some of your requests are difficult to incorporate I will explain why and suggest alternatives. We're still working in monochrome at this point - a strong logo should be able to work without colour!
Once the design is finalised, I will create any further variations required (e.g. social media 'square' format, text only, horizontal , vertical, dark background, light background). You will be sent all of the agreed file formats for each variation, including a vector file, giving you full control of the logo going forward.
