SquareKey Studio holds some information about you, which makes it a data controller of your personal data. This document outlines how that information is used, who I may share that information with and how I keep it secure.

How I collect your data

You may provide me with personal data in the following ways:

By completing one of my customer questionnaires

I use this information in order to provide you with branding and design services. This means that the legal basis of my holding your personal data is for legitimate interest. I undertake at all times to protect your personal data in a manner which is consistent with my duty of professional confidence and the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) concerning data protection. I will also take reasonable security measures to protect your personal data storage.
Analytics Data
Like most websites, I make use of analytics software in order to help me understand the trends in popularity of the website and of different sections. I may automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the installed cookies on your device. Additionally, as you browse the site, I collect information about the individual web pages or products you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the site, and how you interact with the site. I make no use of personally identifiable information in any of the statistical reports used from this package.
HOW I USE YOUR DATA
My top priority is customer data security, and, as such, I process only minimal user data, as much as it is absolutely necessary to maintain the website. Information collected automatically is used only to identify potential cases of abuse and establish statistical information regarding website usage. This statistical information is not otherwise aggregated in such a way that it would identify any particular user of the system.
You can visit the website without telling me who you are or revealing any information, by which someone could identify you as a specific, identifiable individual.
If, however, you wish to use some of the website’s features such as my contact form, you may provide personal data to me, such as your email, first name, last name and telephone number. I act as a data controller for use of this personal data to provide graphic design services.
SHARING OF YOUR DATA
I may disclose your personal information with some third parties:
Any legal or crime prevention agencies and/or to satisfy any regulatory request, if I have a duty to do so or if the law allows me to do so.
Any contractors/advisors that provide a service to me or act as my agents, on the understanding that they keep this information confidential.

Persons or entities with whom I am sharing the information
The right to rectification - You have the right to request that I correct any information held about you that you believe to be inaccurate.
The right to erasure - You have the right to request that I erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that I restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to data portability - You have the right to request that I transfer the data I have collected about you to another organisation or directly to you, under certain conditions.
The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to my processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

Information security AND SAFEGUARDING
I only use information that may identify you in accordance with GDPR. This requires me to process personal data only if there is a legitimate basis for doing so and that any processing must be fair and lawful.
I also ensure the information I hold is kept in secure locations and will protect personal and confidential information held on equipment such as laptops (password protected).
